In a summer morning of febrile activity, well clip on hundreds of colored streamers to the leaf stems on the lower branches of your tree. Then youll view with awe as the slightest breeze flows through the fringe in undulations of chromatic motion, forming impromptu maypole patterns around the trunk.
The tree crowns curtain of fluttering, twisting strands may resemble the flow of rain from a distant thunderstorm.
Enjoy a cup of your favorite brew in a lawn chair among the ribbons that will isolate you with fleeting, tempting vistas of the outside world. Delight as the hued tresses, steered by the breath of the wind, caress your skin.
The streamers are glossy and slightly weighted to avoid tangling, and all our products are bio-degradable, which means that one month after the leaves fall to the ground, their tails break down to soil.
Another popular Treetment is having a host of small, tinted helium balloons attached to the leaves in the late summer. As autumn approaches, your deciduous trees adornment will wave in the wind like a fiery torch. As the leaves turn color and let loose, flocks of ten or twenty will float away towards the horizon.
On a still October day, silent as a cats yawn, one per minute will release to float straight up and then disappear with its gas bubble. Fall will instead mean rising leaves and no raking afterwards.
A Yule Treet is our double-ended Christmas tree. The trees are harvested by tugging them from the sandy loam and then rinsing and trimming the root. Mount the trunk on our special stand with the roots in a large fishbowl of water, or have them sprayed green and decorate both ends to now and then rotate and renew your tannenbaum.

If that doesn't work, scroll through what Google returns - you'll get the idea.

I like the fact that I'll never need to rake the lawn, but who'll tie the ballons onto the leaves? |
|
|
Re. the helium balloon approach, not that helium balloons would last from August to October, but if they did, you would either really piss off the Canadians, or wipe out yet another species of mid-Ocean fish, depending on which way the wind was blowing. |

But I like the streamers. Reminiscent of what people do around here at Easter (see link). |

Hm...seems to be hit and miss. Try the next link if that one doesn't work for you. |

thought it would be a maypole! |

my friend and her partner used to have a magic tree for the kids, actually it was a shrub. they would tie all kinds of different things in it for the children to discover - a little like an allround the year christmas tree. |

nice one fj. don't you just worry about cats yawns? I always worry they will turn their heads inside out. |
|
|
No, but I can't stop myself from inserting my finger. |

We did this on occasion in junior high, except we used toilet paper. Sometimes the scented kind! Also we would decorate the lawn with plastic forks. But the Same Tyrannical Principle! |
