Earlier today, I was thinking of old weapons, such as the trebuchet, catapults, bows, and atlatl. The irony of it was that earlier today, I had thought of a tennis atlatl, and I come here to post it, and [bungston] has posted a bowling atlatl. So I go with my other idea. The bowling Trebuchet.

Small trebuchets, with the ability for 20 lb payloads, are placed on the lanes. Bowling pins are then set up in the distance. Players are given large wooden mallets to adjust the trebuchets (like they did in medieval days) and then they are allowed to load the trebuchet, and fire it at their pins. Traditional bowling rules follow.

Players are allowed 3 callibration shots before beginning the game.

I'm for anything involving siege engines, have a bun.

Heh, this went 9 votes without any anno's. I think that's a record, or something close!

Current record stands at 9+ and has been annotationless for 3 months. I'd say what it is but then I think someone would annotate it just to make a point.

Ah. I found it. Well, now that idea is 10+ without annos. I'll leave it alone. It's quietly soaking up buns.

       Pity the poor lanes though.

Let me know when you open for business. I could see this becoming an Olympic sport!
