Throw away lots of interesting looking things in trash cans just
to
make people double take when they throw away stuff, and to
make them think about the consumption cycle.
You can do this with cheap but beautiful things. My feather
contraptions work nicely and I've got a lot of them, and now
that I've won I dont need the prototypes anymore.

My wife tells me that at Eptelink park (I think in Belgium or
Sweden, not sure) the garbage cans talk to you when you
approach them, and say thank you when you throw something
in them. |

I had a highly similar idea, and i thought it might even be permitted according to statute. |

There is trash on the side of highways and streets; artists could paint and decorate these in place, without creating fresh trash, turning them into beautiful objects. highway trash would be pleasantly lookable. |

Who among us wouldn't respond well to a retread covered with glitter and fluorescent paint? |

I forsee artificially intelligent trash cans mugging people for trash. If you don't have any you had better throw in your shoe. |
