The caterpillar of the Hazel Tussock (a moth) eats
the flesh of pumpkins and gourds, but avoids the
outer part of the skin, which contains bitter and
slightly toxic chemicals. |

Therefore, you could consider placing a Hazel
Tussock caterpillar in your pumpkin and waiting. |

I wonder if one could soak a pumpkin in an aquarium of fluid such that the orange would break down and it would become translucent? A tank full of these would be scary! |

Maybe there was a tank full of zombie heads somewhere recently. Probably Walking Dead or WWz. I glimpse these fearful things sideways only. |
