Towel Warmer
Makes use of your existing Central Air system to warm your towels | |
Pipe towel warmers have been around for a while. But they are difficult to install and most don't look good. I am thinking of an easy (DIY) towel warmer that is basically a free standing closet or hamper. All you need is three sides, one door and a vented top. Put shelves in the unit for your towels
and leave the bottom open. Place the unit over your central heating duct and voila you have a towel warmer. This is also portable to be put in other rooms, and can be taken with you when you move. Only draw back is it doesn't work in the summer, but hell who wants hot towels in the summer.

Neat, simple and practical. Croissant. |

Mind you, you could just stand a clotes airer next to the air vent ...... bit radical, though. |

<Thinks> Hmm ... no giant magnets, custard, pyrotechnics, computers or cars ..... is this truly a halfbakery idea ? |

I know, I know, I was gonna motorize it so it runs away from you, but then I started having flashes of halfbakery members running about the house naked chasing their towel warmers. That was enough to pretty much bring the creative thought process to a staggering halt. |

Can this be an accessory for the Bath Buggy? |

Why [TPK] there are throngs of people out there who would pay good money to see the halfbakery denizens running wildly, flailing their arms, screaming like banshees, chasing down their warm towels, right? (eewwwww). |

the cat would love this and sends you a croissant. |

I have hot water radiant floor heating. Guess I'd be out of luck on this one. Great idea though. + |
