People rarely put tic tacs straight into their mouths. Usually they spill a few into their hand then shove them into their mouth. Ample time for a little subliminal exposure.
Company logos can be etched onto each mint, and distributed worldwide using their already-established supply chain.
Sure
this would cost extra to implement, but the new revenue model would easily accomodate for this cost.
Clever geographic segmentation can be developed for this. local companies can order thier logo to be branded on tictacs sold in their corresponding region - highest bidder wins!
NB. I'm no whore for advertising. on the contrary, but just saw a little gap, and thought I would share.
Logos on the wrappers, I like your idea better

You can already do this with M&M's. |
really...? If it wasn't clear, i meant advertising for other companies. |
You can put your company name on an M&M. Check out the M&M website. |

Tic tacs are horribly small... why them?
why not a bigger candy? |
But I suppose that pretty soon every last
bit of surface area real estate will be
branded and labeled with sponsors and
whatnot. |
I'll give you a bun for that one, but I'm going to print my logo on it first. |
I've baked my croissant into the shape of my company's logo. |

Have to agree with [twitch] on this one maybe on a Mento? |

I like this idea~ [+] Tic Tacs are good because they are a great socializing tool for the office crowd, especially now that smoking has been greatly curtailed. |
"Want a Tic Tac? Sure. How are things in accounting?" |
"Fine. What Logo did you get? Chase? Oh I LOVE that bank!!" |
Maybe we can go one further and give Tic Tacs little voices-- like a Birthday Card. So pop it in your mouth, and you hear a ten-second advertising blurb through your teeth. |
