I am not quite sure if this has been baked before but I believe that if you could hook and EEG monitor to your head and train the computer to react to certain brain wave functions you may be able to control something as simple as a mouse click and mouse movement with thoughts and be able to type simotaniously.
This would be very productive. I believe it is very possible to do this today. It may even be possible one day to think of certain letters and be able to type with thoughts, who cares about that voice recognition stuff when you could just think and type!

...Later - found it on the BBC, and it was covered by Nature. The story and its follow ups have been on the newswire around the world, every month since. |

A mind like mine would make for disturbing viewing if given control of a mouse. For saner people however, a worthy concept. |

what if you fall asleep while connected and have a "bad" dream? |

This is kind of like the device Steven Hawking is connected to to talk with, only it translates thought into motion. |

They already are trying something like this for parylized people. |
