Half a croissant, on a plate, with a sign in front of it saying '50c'

This would work fine, except in terms of success.

Okay I bet many of the people who use this site need money. I can tell because ya'll have so much free time. Well, here is the scheme: We start a ‘consulting’ company that operates entirely online. People come to us with problems and credit cards and we offer out-of-the-box solutions within hours. How is this different from normal halfbakery? Well here people learn to come up with odd-ball ideas, at the moneymaking site we’ll offer odd-ball solutions.

I bet we’d get a lot of business from advertising companies. Why brain storm your self when for $49.95 you can get 3 halfbaked advertisement ideas from us? Come on-- I’m half serious about this! I want $$$

Heck, I'd sign on in a heartbeat. My full-time job is so lame I have to invent half my own workload to keep from bonking off.

I think you'll find that advertising companies are stuffed full of creatives that can do this kind of thing and are iconoclastic by profession. Also consulting companies exist that can provide this kind of advice with some having the resources to provide prototypes complete with any necessary software.

Jobs doing this kind of thing are available but for these jobs you just have to be talent spotted, lucky and/or brave enough to apply. Most corporations will have such group and their existance is generally revealed when a CEO want to draw attention to his various creative teams in a speech.

I agree. I'm a creative at an ad agency and although I'm happy to trawl through here for a little inspiration when the barrel's running low, I'm ****ed if I'm going to pay you for it ;).
