The World Wide Prophecy Cup

An organized 3 week prophet against prophet show down
  (+3)

  [vote for,

Every country sends its top teams of prophets according to a whole list of categories:
Short term prophecies
Long term prophecies
Religous/Spiritual
Political
Economical
Technological
Conflict

That is a sampling of the categories with sub categories where appropriate. The games take 3 weeks to bring to a completion. Like the olympics and the world cup countries are awarded medals according to their prophets.

"The list is quite extensive, the games take 3 weeks to bring to a completion."
Why, when I already know how it's going to turn out?

I predict this will all turn out badly.

I foresee a spiny, bony object with scales in your future...wait..it's clarifying...it is a fish dinner afterwards!

I just knew this idea would get the kind of reception it has.

"And there was an unforseen disaster at the Prophecy Cup this afternoon when the organisers had to proclaim a complete failure. Not one of the soothsayers' predictions had come true, despite the competition being extended by another 3 weeks."

       Dinner at Milliways, anyone?

       Nice one, [po]...

Prophets Meeting: You Know When, You Know Where.

Time Travelers Meeting: Last Tuesday, 10AM.

I don't need to tell you that I'll see you at both of them.
normzone, Dec 02 2004

Damn. That’s the third time I missed that Traveler’s meeting! Luckily I attended it contemporaneously. Do I hear a paradox barking?

Only 80 more scrying days until blatantly idiotic prediction time!
