I logged on to the Halfbakery,
Because an idea was in my head,
And did a cursory Google search,
And viewed ideas of similar thread,
And when the Yanks were waking up,
And British bakers lunching out,
I wrote the idea on my screen
And hoped it didn’t come to nowt.

When I had it fully writ
I hit the button marked OK
But then my browser went to shit
(It did the same the other day)
It started doing crazy things
And though I tried to do it right
The ‘bakery disappeared somehow
And I posted to a random site

Though I am old with surfing
Through boring sites and silly sites,
I will find out where it has gone,
And claim those pastries (mine by rights);
And walk knee-deep in custard thick,
And pluck till time and times are done
The silver fishbones of the moon,
The golden croissants of the sun.

For some reason while reading this the Song of the Cebu from Veggietales popped into my head. Now I'm cursed with it for at least another hour.
