[Please suggest (or move to) a better category
(ammusement park:ride not fit for this one, maybe
something under home (general)?]
This folding apparatus is good for the back yard or the
building apartment that has a porch.
Connect it to electricity and it starts blowing hot air into
the
first set of six small clear plastic hot air balloons,
once
filled pulling the next set behind them. Each balloon has
a
small electric heater/blower so that the balloons are
constantly hot.
The balloon cluster is connected to a large inflatable
circle
with 6 harnesses, so that your company or spouse and
kids
can join you on the ride. The circle is connected to two
tethered ropes (one of them for safety)
Once you took some nice pictures, you can simply press
the remote, which stops heating the balloons and you
slowly drift down. Or if you need to run to the
bathroom,
you simply pull yourself down with the tethered ropes.
This looks like it can fold
http://www.youtube....watch?v=a9jVS2AqD2I Of course for heated air it needs to be 15 times, but it is sent up in steps so its a few of these folding up one into the other. Would fit in a closet on the porch (and no motor of course) [pashute, Aug 14 2011]

Flood your enclosed porch or patio with nitrous oxide; that
way, you and your friends will have the experience of
floating high in the air without ever leaving the ground. |
|
|
Or you could smoke a fat doob. That would work, too. |
|
|
Or is that how you came up with the idea in the first place? |

|
[+]I'm guessing you saw the movie Up too.
I'd love that, you could put the heater under the porch. |
|
|
There are still the problems of the size of the balloons and the wind factor, how are you going to steer it down? or is it a mobile porch? |

* Of course I saw up. After years of doodling with
cluster ballooning... * Its tethered. * Please see link
for size. * Thanks alter other. (makes me think of the
song "altogether now... all we are saying is give
peace a chance") |
