Talking Trumpet / Trombone

 Modified plunger with controllable tongue and compartment shapes to make wind instruments talk.

I was struck by how much this amazing trombone player could make his instrument sound like a person.

With some modifications a plunger could have a tongue added to make it be able to pronounce consonants as well as vowels.
