A set of 4 or 5 folding multi - tool knives, all stainless steel, sterilizable by boiling, with a varied assortment.
Number 1 would have a holder for disposable scalpel blade, scissors, probe and so forth; 2 and 3 would have hemostats and accessory tools, 4 and 5 would duplicate some functions and add
a set of dental picks, suturing tools, etc.

Hinges would require extra care with steralisation. [-] |

maybe the hinge pin pulls out or the blades are otherwise made 100% open surface. Problem is you would need it to be assembled and placed in a steri-pak until needed. I'm not seeing a lot of application for this, the final unit is going to be clunky and heavy, with hinges, and not much smaller than a conventional flat packet of tools. |

2. Tools and instruments are the same?
3. "Dr. Scissorhands, we're ready for the next

hehe, good one [blissy]!!
this would be much too cumbersome as [21] has stated. |

[21] You have identified several reasons why this is
impractical, for both the surgeon and the patient, and why
such a tool could potentially even injure the surgeon. Yet
you seem to have given it a [-].....you are an enigma. |
