Sometimes my mouse gets a bit sweaty. All the hard work it does.

Sometimes I wish it had a material (eg terry towelling) covering so it wouldn't feel so slimey.

Should be removable so you can wash it. Maybe with a velcro strip around the bottom edge of the mouse.

Could be multi-coloured. Maybe even sport team colours etc.

Might still feel slimey, but deep down you'll know it's clean. [jutta, Aug 16 2006]

Annotation:

I'm thinking the sweatband belongs on your wrist, not your mouse. But maybe you have sweaty palms?

Usually on mice and keyboards and the like, the areas routinely touched by our hands are cleaner than the other parts. Though I used to know another person whose mouse invariably got dirty from regular use. Also called Jo, as it happens.

I really never have this problem, I don't even touch the mouse with the palm of my hand anyway. Fingertips are more than enough to control it.

I like it - I often get a sweaty mouse and it gave me another idea...
