I propose a small gutter that is attached to the lower side of your sweatband that curves such that excess sweat squeezed from the sweat band is directed away from your face and eyes thus preventing sweat from running in your eyes or onto your glasses.

Pack the sweat band with ammonium nitrate. It has a positive enthalpy of solution. Potassium chlorate is even better. |

more water, as well as allow the outer surface to
evaporate water, preventing the run-off effect. |
