I think this would be a great thing to not do.

Stepmother's cell phone

Makes making up more fun

Many cell phones have a flip up lid that covers the keys. The outside of the lid should have a mirror surface. The phone must have a speaker feature and a camera. That way she can talk to a friend while looking at the mirror to do the make up. The camera transmits the picture to the friend who can give advice or opinion about the progress of the make up. Its like the talking mirror in Snow White, but with a positive spin. If the battery is dead the mirror can also be used to signal for help.

Drop it and you'll have seven dwarfs of bad luck.

I thought they had chips in the cell phones, but if its dwarfs I can understand that they would be unhappy after a drop and do evil thing to you.

Teenage girls + mirror + cell phone + camera = croissant

Klaatu, I know how you meant that but it looks a wee bit unsavoury...

[kbecker] I think we've done the cellphone with mirror on the halfbakery before.

yes, is it [Klaatu] or is it [Akuaalung] :)

[jon...] Where is the camera in the linked idea? Where is the make-up aspect and the social interaction? Who cares about emergencies as long as one looks good? I don't see redundancy.

Mobile/cellphones already have cameras so you can't bake that.

so, the difference between your idea and a standard mobile phone is a mirror, which my halfbaked idea proposed.

sure, your application was different, that I'll grant you. [mfd] removed, for others to add back if they see fit.

I really, really hope that nobody drives while using this feature.
