Amusement park where all rides are made for cars

This one is pretty self-explanatory. It would be a huge park (in order to handle long lines made up of automobiles instead of people) offering the standard rides outfitted for cars. The rollercoasters would just be rails that cars could be hooked up to and chained together with a special adaptor. For bumper cars an extra-thick rubber innertube would be placed around each car. There could also be all new rides, such as a giant mud pit or obstacle courses of fire and fake dragons. Lines would be much easier to wait through since you'd be in the car in a comfortable seat with whatever entertainment you brought along. This would also do away with the need for huge parking lots.

Hey I like this idea. The kids ogle at the thought of staying in the car through the car wash. This would capitalize on that notion. Looks like a croissant from here.

       Helter-Skelter!

(Actually the car-based helter-skelter is already baked in many multi-storey car parks)

Hmmm but remember hot days in a car, not nice.

Instead of a roller coaster, how about a life-sized Matchbox track? Complete with jumps, loop-the-loops and banking turns. Of course there's a car wash at the end of the ride.

And a swing. Perhaps also a catapult?

That's gotta be one thick innertube to absorb a head on collision between two SUVs.

Listening to the car radio while riding a roller coaster? Fun! +

The only problem with the bumper car idea is that the fun of it is getting to DRIVE the bumper cars. Being a passenger in a bumper car is not that exciting. As for the rollercoaster and ferris wheel, count me in.

I can envision the ferris wheel. [+]

The waterslide might cause problems, and do you have to throw tennis balls at the target that dunks the guy in water out from the car window?
phundug, Jul 20 2010

And all the on-site restaurants are, I assume, drive-through?
DrWorm, Jul 20 2010

       And the toilets...?
