       Since this is another appallingly contrived Santa pun, and one we hadn't (yet) thought of, we are obliged to give it a mincemeat*-stuffed croissant with holly** on the top.   

       *The version made with chopped fruit <link>, not the type made from animals ***.   

       **The holly is decorative; holly berries and leaves are toxic. Don't eat it.   

       *** Although it has been suggested that the banana may be in fact a kind of fish. However, mincemeat doesn't normally contain banana.
