I can't find a category for this.
When I was younger, and to some extent still, I used to make a point of doing something unusual every day in order to stimulate my mind. This morning I got out of bed and thought, every day I place my feet on the floor and pursue my day bipedal. But I needn't.
I could put my hands on the floor and proceed accordingly, not as a baby on my hands and knees but on my hands and feet. This would afford a different perspective on the world. I would suggest footwear and gloves, but daily life immediately presents challenges, particularly if one eschews using one's hands to manipulate all day. Even having a shower and getting dressed would present many. This is, indeed, the point.
So that's my proposal: spend one day, every now and again, as a quadruped to stimulate one's mind and perceive things differently.

An ingenious invention, which I think will have many unexpected uses once it becomes adopted in any significant way. |

Actually to be srious for a minute,, I have read that there are indeed neurological benefits to this, and an easy way to experiment is to run upstairs quadrupedally placing hands on the treads. Or even in a narrow corridor, placing hands on the walls. I suppose those nordic waddling sticks are an already widely used variant of this. |

This is the handiest least handy thing I've ever heard. |

[pocmloc], I have done that on occasion and it's easier and feels natural. I wouldn't want to put hands on walls though because there are places I've done that and ended up with greasy smudges. |
