Damn! I was just going to add a superbly halfbaked idea - the solar-powered barbeque - but a swift web-search shows me that about a million people have thought of this before me. I'm still going to add it though as even if it works, it *looks* halfbaked.
By the way, I am longsighted (US: farsighted)
and so I can char (I was going to write 'cook', but this would be innaccurate) small amounts of food by focussing the sun's rays with my glasses.

This is a spectacularly wonderful idea . . . and so easy to
implement. Ingredients: 1 pig; 1 shovel; 1 bucket with lid
and hose attached; 1 match; 1 matchbox; steel plate; raw
animal flesh and onions; solar energy. Method: . . . naah,
you get the picture. |
