I'd imagine it'd be uncomfortable to peel those socks off for anyone with any amount of hair on their feet. Yikes! |

spray-on wool, like silly string - instant knitting |
|
|
Well, I like the instant knitting idea, I have been working so hard on christmas gifts, I can't feel my fingers anymore. |

[Raven] I think this sort of thing has been done before - Olivia Newton-John, Grease. |

Good find, DeGroof. I knew I'd seen this somewhere before... |

<3 this idea. The sock would be a perfect fit and
have no gaps so it would keep stuff away from
your foot much better than a normal sock. |
|
|
The material would need to be really flexible and
hug the foot though. Otherwise it would come
away if you flexed your foot too much. |
|
|
Only downside is that youd probably go through a
lot of cans. So you could have a vat of the stuff
that you could just dip your feet in and then it
would dry really quickly just for home. And then
keep a couple of cans for out-and-about. |

You'd need a rubber band to hold them onto your lower leg, unless you can somehow spray elastic. I still think this is a really cool idea! |

William Gibson All Tomorrow's Parties - "...as the Suit crawls out beneath the melon-tinted blanket, that the man's ankles are painted, in imitation of black socks, with something resembling asphalt." |

But, if only he had spray on socks... |
