Snail Scooter

The Slimey way to Majestic Journies

A Snail Scooter ressembles the kind of scooters drived by Mods although it is styled to make it look even more like a snail.

However instead of wheel it has an articulated plastic skirt along the length of it's underside, allowing the vehicle to glide over slime excuded from the front, in a manner similar to an snail. For this kind of transport you would need a reservoir of slime and a small power source (as people won't get too far on one of these).

Ideal for attending Slow Food Society meetings.

You can use your snail scooter to commute to the worm train station. It's only a matter of time before someone suggests "arachnid car". [hippo, Oct 23 2001, last modified Oct 17 2004]

Slow food? Personally, if it's mentally handicapped, I don't want to eat it. No offense to any and all mentally handicapped 1/bakers or their mentally handicapped pets.

I see that this vehicle could have a lot of appeal for punsters ...

No need to duck on my account, thumbwax. I happen to think lame puns are lame because they're lame, not because they're puns. Some puns, though, are wonderful things, and I think yours is one of the wonderful ones.

To help the Earth and stop/reduce/reverse "Global Warming" it should be solar powered. Also, I like the slime idea...but, we will need something to clean the slime trails off the sidewalks. Also, will it be unaffected by snow melt salt?

HAHAHA oh god... "Look at that 'S' car go".... oh jeez... I laughed my eyestalks off.... Hey, why not take all the oil and crap we've been polluting the world with and use it as slime for our S-cars? Recycling! I like the wierdness here. I say [+] for this idea, and [++] for the S-car pun, that was nice. I've heard it before, I can't remember when, nor can I imagine any time to use it other than right there, at the top o' the comments.
