How can anyone not bun this? |
Do I need to obtain a special permit to ride my sand-
worm? |
Only if you want to use the S-Line Underground. |
Yes but then the skateboarders wouldn't be able to climb out to avoid oncoming traffic. |
That was where I was headed with the entire train of
thought. |
When the skateboarders increase to plague numbers, can I occasionally flood it with sulphur hexaflouride in order to provide pathways for my plain air zeppelins? |
<in resonating deep voices> "Duuuude, whazzz happening mannnn?" |
Why not? It helps keep the sand-worms docile, too. |
How would security guards catch the 'boarders, if
they're covered in Teflon? |
The secret is the security guards are covered in Teflon as well enabling them to..erm...uhh...damn. |
Disturbing thought, [not]. |
Really can't find fault with this. Expensive, impractical,
lethal, prone to daily usage interruptions. It's almost as
faulty as current public transport systems. Ingenious, and
pretty on top of it all. |

In snowy climates this would make a great toboggan track in the winter. [+] |
It would make a great _anything_ track. Well, anything
designed for smooth surfaces, that is. |
//flood it with sulphur hexaflouride[...]my plain air zeppelins?// |
Certainly... add a keelboard and a few sheets of canvas and you could sail them. |
There is a ski hill in Calgary called Paskapoo that would cover the slopes with concave tracks like this and send you down on a cart with hand-brakes when I was a kid. |
Looks like maybe it was too Darwinian because I can't find a link to it. (+) |
