Slipper Slippers

For when the ground is wet and you still want to wear your slippers

I imagine something like a rubber slipper looking thing that is water proof and big enough to slip over one's slippers so that one may walk outside in their nice, cozy slippers and not have to take them off. This would be useful for those mornings (or evenings) when it's just rained or snowed and you need to retrieve something outside, whilst still in your slippers.

It could work... [NotTheSharpestSpoon, Nov 04 2006]

Get normal slippers, just in a bigger size.

Just get some slippers with a rubber sole. Then all you have to do is wipe your feet on the mat when you come back into the house. I've got a pair, and they're fur lined. Nice.

thanks! but see, the slippers I have are your typical bunny slippers...very comfortable but definitely not waterproof. I wear them pretty much every day, even to school, but when it rains or snows, I need my Slipper Slippers to get from my car to the school building! unfortunately I don't think they'll fit over my cat slippers...

You can find a rubber that fits over just about anything.

Dip your whole foot and slipper into rubber dip for tool handles (link). The stuff is very durable, I understand. And you can order sandpaper from the same place to get it off your leg.
