Using the strongest transparent plastics/acrylics, make a transparent water bed that doubles as a tropical fish aquarium.

Add flourescent night lighting for a surreal sleep experience.

I could swear this has been done before, but I can't find it.

The fish would suffer from a) the pressure changes and b) the lack of oxygen, but that's just detail. Bun.

I thought of this after reading the Bed submarine aswell.

Im sure there is some kindof stong, clear material that could be used to hold the actual waterbed together. You could have things inside the actual clear water bed and you could have A Big Plexyglass water-tight frame could also go around the entire waterbed surving as a giant Fishtank Frame. It would be cool if you had an entire artificial underwater world with fake corals and reefs, sand, castles, etc etc.. then you could have all kinds of "Radio controlled or Electromagnetic paths" in which entire schools of fish, sharks, submarines, mermaids, whatever would be intresting to look at. It would be like a newage Fishtank Waterbed.

All kinds of special effects could be used to enhance the visuals - blacklights, mirros, all kinds of colored lights and so on...
