Have you ever slept on a sofa and found it pleasing to recess a foot or arm between the cushions?

Mattress with strategically placed holes and depressions large enough to allow the sleeper to place an appendage beneath the primary bed surface.

Sleep on your stomach with your arms straight down through the mattress. Full length and triangular arm depressions for side sleeping. Slots to slide a vertical foot into to ease blanket toe tension. Flap layer that the sleeper can hump to maintain comfortable knee separation.

I seldom wake up in the same position in which I went to sleep. I assume the reason is, the original position has subconsciously become uncomfortable enough that it needs adjustment. So, this Idea might interfere with the ability to move around while asleep.

// I seldom wake up in the same position in which I went to sleep. //

There are many possible explanations for that, but in your case the most likely one is that the driver of the street-cleaning wagon has dragged you out of the gutter and onto the sidewalk, so as to avoid lots of tedious paperwork if you're run over .... again ...

+ , but no clue why.

Before child labor laws were made, Children were no doubt employed to create lumps, bumps and gaps in the bedding. Hopefully you can get this implemented before mattress and sofa labor laws are passed.

(+) Alright people, can someone please tell me how we have not had so much as one single order from the Australia/ New Zealand markets? ...or any of the equatorial customer base really?

       It's baffling.

Because when it's slil daylight downunder obviously. And summer, and warm, and fun, with lots of things to do. You're the ones in hibernation mode mate.

I'm a toe stuffer. I love to stick my toes underneath the cushions on my couch. Yay. +

+ I need this! A bad knee, a hurt shoulder...all going into in the depressions. Could we make new holes if needed?

You know those packing material things that consist of some kind of chemical inside gray plastic bags, and you activate them however and stuff them into the box around whatever you're shipping, and they solidify in the perfect shape to cradle the payload?

Just find a way to make that stuff reversible and make a bed out of it.
