A string of 2 or more quadcopters strung together with some visible material such as ribbon or a string of lights.

These flying, bendable lines can be flown in various configurations to draw moving figures, spell words or create decorative patterns.

Art using quadcopters is becoming more popular, but you need a lot of them to get the job done. Stringing highly visible material between them allows you to create flying, animated images with lines instead of just dots, that is, the quadcopters being used as pixels.

My old idea. https://www.theguar...works-drones-patent
Baked and patented, but that's ok. My new one is better than this. [doctorremulac3, Dec 21 2016]

       God you're an idiot.

Where does it say you've strung lights or other visual material between them? Again, I'll post your non idea so you don't go back and change it. You strike me as kind of a scumbag.

The Drone Aerobatic Display Team will neither confirm or deny their existence. Unobserved nose to tail flying perfect circles is a particular favourite, were there to actually be such a manoeuvre. The biggest difference between Drone Aerobatics and conventional flying teams is in the observing audience, which is them and not you. Their motto? Now They See You, Now You Don't. — xenzag, Sep 08 2015//

Widely known to exist, no mention of the visual element strung between the vehicles that's is the core of the idea.

//You strike me as kind of a scumbag.// Ha - cheer up. Angry words will get you no where except the negative place. Kindness and humour works best with me, and a polite request for permission to replicate my ideas will always receive a generous response.

By trying to steal my idea, you prompted me to do some research.

In searching for the patents that Disney filed for animated drone light shows, I found not only what you're saying you invented, but the first incarnation of my invention as well all filed back in 2013.

In thinking about what was to be the clear claim of my patent, I invented something totally different, the bendable, reconfigurable sky drawing system that allows you to use many fewer drones to create animated images in the sky. I also found out that this form of entertainment has big time investors. I'll be starting the filing of my patent today.

See links of patents of my old idea and what you are trying to say is your idea.

       Mmm..buh bye.

Just thought of an ancillary invention I'm going to patent for this.
