Shopping spurs

These resemble cock fighting spurs, providing a hook extending above and behind the elbow. The hook is supported by a band around your arm, or is built into a fashionable shopping jacket.

Instead of carrying wrist breaking and palm cutting loads of shopping bags, simply hang the heavy bags from the shopping spurs.

You can wear the shopping spurs all the time. Should you be grabbed from behind by a ne’er-do-well shopper, a quick elbow reversal will produce a satisfying oomph, and a quick release.

[Shz] Hah! But no, a shopping spur is a single hook supported by the arm (or jacket) above the elbow, taking the weight of packages off the forearm.

Ah, swiss cheese at its best. Just what were bliss, krelnik, Farmer and thumb thinking. How did Shz's link just get through my temperamental and unforgiving firewall. All this and less, after these messages.
