A slow, lazy flow of hot water from a secondary take off point is fed around a channel moulded just above the water line as defined by the overflow. The water reaches the rim of the channel and cascades down the inside of the bath in a continuous sheet.
This bath never grows cold (until you run
out of hot water) and the continuous flow down the sides of the bath ensures there is no real need to scrub the tub afterwards.
The deluxe version has a neckrest moulded into the far end, allowing a soothing cascade of warm water onto the shoulders to gently ease away those tension pains.

OK, so far we've got Thumb at one end, po's duck, bliss under the shower (so to speak) and Zanzibar Meg. |

I hadn't reckoned on such a crowd. Time to install the Rugby Changing Rooms version I think... |

Phoe, thanks for the links. They're not quite the same though. That first one appears to be powered by geothermal springs, which is not quite the relaxing effect I'm after. And the second one looks like a glorified garden pond. |
