This is an add on to my Remote Contol Shark idea. in which I noted that because sharks migrate by following geomagnetig lines on the oceans floor, sharks could be led buy humans on whatever course we like if we introduce a stronger marnetic pathway.

Of course once you get the sharks where you want them it is important that they be capably armed. While you might recall sharks with lasers has already been suggested. I did some research and lasres do not perform well under water.whereas harppons are not only a proven weapon for the marine environment they are also mobile and require no power source.

Spearguns use either gas pressure, springs, or tensioned elastomers as energy storage to propel the projectile.

Because of square-law, a heavy projectile with a small cross sectional area and a low velocity, moving through a dense medium such as water, will retain its energy better than a light, fast projectile. But the effective range is still very limited.

My wife is the most effective harppon weapon I know.

The Anti -Spelling -Punctuation -Grammar Force is strong with this one. Headache I have.

And aren't sharks, a well-known predator, already armed to the teeth with teeth?

Arm the gentle prey. I've always thought the deer should have rifles, to make it fair when the citiots (city idiots) come up north for the annual autumn waste of ammo.

Interesting. I thought this was an idea for a movie...

Arse ... Sorry, wrong context.

I like the idea of a 'marnetic pathway' and wonder if this is a type of magnetic marmite?

       Hmmm, tasty savoury ferrofluid ...

Of course, [bob], this idea does rather assume that sharks are controlled by these pathways, rather than merely guided by them. In fact, sharks also have other senses, and may be more intelligent than you [... pauses, and then charitably adds ...] think.

One other option is sharks firing smaller sharks strapped to the spears at prey.

Firing bigger sharks would have more recoil and the bigger sharks would just snaffle the lot anyway.

Wait...if the shark could fire two larger sharks in opposite directions, the recoil-ess shark(s) gun is created. Gives self a [+]
