How many different numbers are there? In the words of Harry Hill, what are the chances of that happening, eh? |
Ideally, two *table tennis* balls, with the same number on them. |
There are 365 balls, so the average time between Serendipity Doo Dah days is 1 year. |
That doesn't necessarily follow - you need to specify what's on each ball. If it's 364 8 balls and one 7, on average you'll get a Serendipity Doo Dah Day every day but one. |

This sounds very much like the ad hoc holidays most boarding schools have every now and again for the students to let off steam (at my son's school, they're called Headmaster's Days). Hard to make work at short notice in society at large - "everyone goes where they would normally go" - might be tricky if the train and bus drivers are all off congaing. |

I do think we should have a VI (Victory in Iraq) day (heck, they had a VE day and a VJ day). |

I'm all for something that promotes slacking in the
workplace. OK, maybe I'm just looking for some
justification for my track record. I work from home,
which certainly doesn't promote productivity - especially
when the weather is nice*. |

*unlike it has been for the past 10 freakin' days. But I
digress. |

Hey. I just got an idea!!!!!! |
