I think this could work. A cylinder is extremely self-referential: any slice parallel to one end defines the cross-section of the entire cylinder. Likewise, any radial segment, no matter how small, can be swept round to reconstruct the complete cylinder. And I've an inkling that cylinders could be used somehow to make some crazy sort of engine. |
