When you right click in a browser or doing many computer tasks you are given a list of choices in a row which is either up or down from your cursor depending on where you are on the screen.

I'd like to see a customizable list of choices that are icons which encircle your cursor so you don't have to move your cursor far to access that program, shortcut or other task. Why is it that so many webpages have the scroll bar on the right and the choices to click on the left?

I'd like to move my scroll bar to the left next to all my choices so I don't have to constantly move the mouse. Like Windows in safe mode you can't see some of the choices because the OK button isn't next to the thing you're choosing.

       Perhaps you could also use this approach to avoid the incredible tedium of choosing US states from an oddly-alphabetized drop-down list, when it would be far, far quicker to just type them in.

       I like this idea, because too many context menus are a mile and a half long.   

       Apparently some folks are a bit ahead of you, and have implemented this. They call it a "radial context menu". See links.

       Oops, I didn't notice how those pages were working. Changed to a direct link. (The original link went to a part of the Stanford University website where you could watch seminars online for free. I believe this guy was doing a human-computer interaction presentation.)
