Recently there has been a craze throughout the UK of these plastic wiry things called Scoubidous, which come from France. I think it would be hilarious fun if you made Scoubidou Spaghetti, where you can braid the spaghetti, then eat it. The spaghetti would be a little bit thicker than normal, and it wouldn't be cooked completely, just stiff enough so as that it could be braided.

Optional colours possible, braid, dip into pasta sauce, then eat...

So nice to see a pointless craze for kids that doesn't come from Japan. As [froglet] points out, it would of course be better if you could eat them.

Throw spaghetti on a bandwagon? I like it.

Edit: Call me behind the times but I haven't heard of this craze. Does scoubidous have anything to do with Scooby Doos?

It's a playground craze that's quite common in some schools, not so common in others, but it has NOTHING to do with Scooby Doo. Scoubidous are these little plastic wire things that you can braid into little figurines or into keyrings. They come from France.

I am sure I have heard of braided pasta, but not as small as you are describing. see link

You might have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those pesky kids. + anyway.
