Schrödinger's Cat Motel is a new and unique cat motel that takes advantage of the famous thought experiment of the same name.
A prominent sign would be displayed, in flashing neon of course, advertising the fact that each cat deposited in this unique motel would be afforded every creature comfort
imaginable for the duration of its stay.
Daily meals would be automatically delivered to each of the separate sealed living quarters via a rotating hatch; litter trays would be refreshed; spring water would fill a bowl; a replica mouse would run around randomly to provide entertainment and a robotic arm would administer periodic grooming.
The accommodation would quite frankly be cat heaven, but then there is The Device..... the potentially deadly device is that which enables the motel to be named after Mr Schrödinger.
Only on returning from holiday to collect your cat will you know if it has survived and enjoyed its vacation. This means for the entire duration of your time apart, you get to share in the experience of your cat being simultaneously alive and dead at the same time.
The ultimate duality aspect of the Schrödinger's Cat Motel is whether or not The Device is actually real. An NDA with draconian penalties prevents any discussion to establish the true nature of the status of The Device.

That would be where a dragon shows up and flames the cat ... |

I once flamed a cat. I posted a volley of rhetorical malice that singed my own fingers as I typed. The cat didn't care. |

Yes, they just give you one of those Looks, and stalk away. We hate that. |

Would a cat know if it had a close shave with a dyeing device. |

Cats are smarter than the people they have in
their service. They know everything |
