An international effort built of several stages to save North
Koreans (and the globe).
First half:
Stage 1: Several western countries accept North Korean
labor
for a higher price than paid to NK by the Kuwaitis, Saudis
and
Abu Dhabi for slave labor.
Stage 2: Large labor camps established
in the west to accept
these people, with good living conditions, knowing that their
family members are held hostage by the regime. These
should
accept MOST of the men of North Korea.
Stage 3: Every penny paid to the regime is listed, and if
none
goes to the worker's family, is noted as stolen money. Any
country including Russia and China, doing (illegal) business
with NK, will become eligible for payback claims, for
assisting
in hostage taking, and for any damages that happen to these
people's families.
Second half: Somehow use this to pay these hundreds of
thousands of workers or maybe even millions of workers, a
fair
pay, and break out of the Kim Jung grip all at once.

Or... as I once heard most eloquently stated: turn NK into a self-illuminating glass-paved parking lot. |

As much as I like the humanitarian nature of your idea, I think it's all but inevitable that the world will end up dealing with a nuked-Korea, especially with the 'merkin government about to be put in power. |

My time machine tells me it will happen.... September 17th of 2017. |

It's just like that over here, top-down societies, I blame Confucius... |

Persecution of moslems in Myanmar, fishermen dying on Thai trawlers of beriberi..Laos has a parliament, they are allowed to debate stuff, but no power to change anything... |

Idealistic wishful thinking. |

[pash], you need to deal with the world as it is, not as you would like it to be. |

If you want to call taxation theft you've got a long road ahead. |
|
|
[Voice], but it's not taxation! NONE of the wages go to the
families. See link. |

[8th], "deal with the world as it is"? So what is HB for? |
|
|
A more effective policy might be to pressure the
Saudis, Kuwaitis, and Abu Dhabibibibis. |
