Russia and China are 2 countries very alike, separated by one border, they are both communists, both super powers, both have practically the same flag, their old architecture and culture very alike. The reason for this is because there is a global movement to stop communism around the world and be replaced with capitalism (McCarthyism based), because the more countries have the capitalist system, the more money business can have from those countries. We need a powerful entity to defend if a country wants to be communist, that it would have the possibility to do so, without being bothered by other countries to change to their government style, or being punished because of it. Also it would became the most powerful nation in the world.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. [jutta, Nov 30 2007]

       Russia is not communist anymore. (Some would say China is neither)

       I liked the name "Rushina" that is why I will stay neutral to the idea.

       People in Mongolia and Kasachstan are going to be upset, though.

       My God, this is a champion of utter nonsense. I can't figure out if [canoro] is trying to be silly, if his/her encyclopoedia needs updating, or if he/she is just plain wacko.

       I'm all for communist countries that want to stay that way getting together and defending themselves from followers of discredited senators who want to bring back the red scare, but let's move on.

       Actually, bring this idea up to at least the 1990s, since Russia's flag is more like France's (and nothing like China's), and their semblence of democracy may be said to be as well, perhaps we should promote the idea of Franssia instead?
globaltourniquet, Nov 30 2007

       France, a country that can't win a war alone (unless they face themselves) + Russia, a country that is nearly impossible to beat in war using conventional means (because of the winters) = Franssia

       the real question is if Franssia would win wars because of the Russia part or lose due to the France part. then you have to take into accounts the fact that there are two countries between France and Russia

       Yeah, dude, what's up with that?
jutta, Nov 30 2007

       Let's see... two 'countries' already far too large to govern their own populations effectively should join together and make an even larger one? Are you not familiar with the refrain from both countries that providing education, healthcare, human rights and prosperity across the whole country evenly and not just in a few cities is impossible due to the size of the country? I'm sorry but I'm going to have to award you a fishbone.

       If anything happens in 'Russia' and 'China' (neither of which are accurate names for the places I assume you mean) it should be a breakdown into the many smaller countries which make them up.

       //I liked the name "Rushina"//

       Reminds me of "Badgina", which is explained by the link, for the uninitiated.
