Inside the 'U', the bottom is lined with rubber so the legs won't scoosh longitudinally while the chair is in motion, the sides inwardly sprout a thick rigid foam rubber to keep them nestled laterally.
Leather buckled lashings are provided which, if need be, can be used to brace the chair while being
moved, or during extreme overextension while being used.
The front of each of the ornately engraved beams is capped with carved varnished wood, giving the operator's feet a comfy place to rest if desired, while the bottoms sport full-length rubber strips to keep the floors pristine.
