When greeting people, say, "Hello, (YOUR NAME), I'm pleased to meet you." They would reply, "Hi, (THEIR NAME), haven't seen you in a while." No need to remember their name anymore. Nice and Neat.

You should try this with your class for a few days; maybe you'd learn their names quicker. |

People already do this all the time: "Hi, I'm Chris." "My name's Mike; pleased to meet you." |

As [snarfyguy] points out, people do this already and, in fact, I think it's common for them to drop the "Hi" or "my name is" part altogether. |
