Everyone loves a comeback story. So this is a genre of movies,
probably starting with one genre establisher, that exaggerates the
frustratingness of a series of situations and then creates contrast
with a climax of epicly proportional comeuppance. Hmm I may
not
have expressed that clearly.
An example might be a series of
screens where the first person shot is stuck in traffic and an
increasing series of exaggerated situations occur where the main
character is missing opportunities, getting beat out, having to wait
through multiple lights etc, and the villain keeps getting rewarded
for immoral and unfair behavior and the exaggeration keeps
increasing so that the main character's family and aspirations get
involved and ultimately of course the fate of the world which is
endangered by the stuff that the villain keeps getting away with
to
an exponentially acceleratingly exaggerated degree. And so of
course, when incredulity could not possibly allow even one more
wafer thin mint's worth of humble pie, the story line would add in
one more small thing that would start a cycle and then a climactic
rush of revenge and reward with birthdays and marching bands
and
79 virgins etc. Of course the details I am adding are male-
oriented
but could be androgenized for a real movie.

I like porn as much as the next guy, but I want mine to include paragraph breaks. |
|
|
I doubt that, I really like porns. |

All of what I just read was so very very wrong that I really don't know how to address any of it. |

They say that plain ordinary "romance novels" qualify
as porn for the gals. And then there is "military porn"
for various guys, with literally-explosive climaxes. So,
here we seem to have a definition for "revenge
porn". OK. |
|
|
The term 'revenge porn' is already in use, describing the
practice of uploading compromising photos of one's ex-lover
as a form of petty and humiliating revenge. It was recently
outlawed in California, among other places. |

[Alterother], yes, I'm aware of the already-existing
definition. So? Here at the HalfBakery we think
nothing is wrong with creating new definitions.... |

Just a roadside stop on my quest to vanquish ambiguity.
Ignore me if it bothers you; that seems to work for
[bigsleep]. |
