There should be this mirror that shows your face as it does to the world. There are still moments that I'm surprised about the way pictures show the real me. It's a good coordination practice as well.
B&W Mirror
http://www.halfbake...20mirror#1002815112 PeterSealy, is this the link you couldn't find (it has a discussion of R/L justification in mirrors)? [beauxeault, Jan 07 2002, last modified Oct 04 2004]

Yes [PS], before posting this idea I've been searching too, cause I thought there must have been something like this.
Still, it would be kinda nice if there's a mirror in 1 piece, cause the way you suggest it is only working if you keep your head exactly in the middle. And, there's allways this line splitting your head in 2. |

Or get a webcam mounted on your monitor. Most of them let you choose if you want the image mirrored or the right way round. |

I'd posit that the difference between how you look in the mirror and how you look in pictures doesn't have as much to do with the reversal of left/right as it does with things like the lighting in the room, the angle of the mirror, and the distance from the viewer to the mirror. |

On the topic of symmetry and mirrors: I recently noticed something odd. I had never done the 2-mirror thing, to see how others saw me. But recently I did. When looking at my face in a mirror, nothing stands out. But with the 2 mirrors, I can see a definite bend in my nose to one side. Why would this be apparent with 2 mirrors, but not 1? Habituation? Perhaps eye dominance? |

PS, that's quite witty. Was it intentional? |

Why would I want to look from three away over a shoulder at my own face with eyes that seem to follow my every

move? |

Has anyone ever seen such a mirror sold? I'd really like to buy one the size of a bathroom vanity mirror. I thought of this idea for a product and my search led me to this site. |

sorry bob, we're all sold out. Want to buy some cheese rings or a panic pin? We do a nice line in furry tails. |
