Radio controlled flavors

Metal nanoantennas that absorb EM and change the shape of proteins are published. Attach nanoantennas to flavors and then have the plate broadcast flavor change of heightening

I feel almost sure that I have read that attaching little gold nanoantennas to proteins gets them to change shape with electromagnetic radiation.

I think these nanoantennas could be attached to food flavors so as to adjust the intensity or even the kind of flavor with a radio-broadcasting thingy. "Alexa, make the crisps taste better", "up the sweetness of the later bites of cereal".

Another possibility is gentle positive-only behavioral psychology. Let's say a child is learning to read. Every time they sound out a word by parts or put in the effort to read a whole paragraph the sweet taste in their mouth could have a sudden amplitude increase, giving them a candy like reward in realtime for trying harder and/or getting things right.

Just drill holes in their skull and poke wires in; you can stimulate the relevant neurons directly.

Then show the student to the rest of the class and say "Work hard at learning to read, or you will end up like Pinhead from Hellraiser, see ?".

       Amazingly motivating.

Even easier, shirley, to only eat food you actually like.

Yes, but you have to give [beanangel] credit where credit is due - I've scarcely been here but once or twice in six months, and I could tell who the author was before I finished reading the idea (+).

Though, unusually, I wasn't sure from the title alone.

I would be willing to be a test subject for this. [+]
