A metallized paper/fabric radar corner. Folds down to wallet sized when not in use.

Pop it open, and those guys flying around in a chopper looking for you for two weeks because you got lost in a blizzard in the middle of nowhere might find you. If they know you have one.

Which, were this standard equipment, they might.

       It's called a Radar Reflector or Radar Target Enhancer or other such names. The are used on small, fibreglass watercraft to make them more visible on radar. I'm not sure if you can get a pocket-sized one but it wuld seem feasable that you could, all you need is tinfoil.   

       Active versions of these devices are also availiable that transmit a radar-frequency radio signal that shows up as a strong "blip" on radar.

       A 30cm corner reflector has the same cross-section on radar as a 3m x 3m flat panel.   

       Seems a foldable version is patented see [links]
