Rabbit Diaper

A smaller version of a human baby diaper can be fastened securely to the back of found rabbit with tape or string. A wheel should then be attached to the underside of the apparatus to allow its movement throughout your home or trailer.

This will prevent unsightly mess and will be interesting to watch as it trundles about.

A fishing line can then be tied to a harness around the shoulders so you can quickly reel it in and lower it into its hutch when it is time for bed.

I skim read the idea, looked at the annotation and then had to recheck to see it for my own eyes.

       Would it work on were-rabbits?

My friends with house pet rabbits trained them to use a litter box like a cat.

this is difficult to do from watching my girlfriend's rabbit piss everywhere but where it should.

With a bit of duct tape, you could even use a rabbit as a diaper for a baby. Biodegradable, renewable, soft, fluffy. Use some more duct tape to close off the rabbit's orifices to avoid bites & spills.

Rabbits come litter trained, naturally inclined to use one spot as a bathroom.

Cover the floor with newspapers (obvious precaution), watch where they litter, put the litter tray there. Once they're used to using it (doesn't take long), move the litter tray to somewhere more convenient.

It's possible your girlfriend's rabbit has been caged too long. It might also be marking its territory, but we've had two male rabbits, one extremely aggressive, and neither did any such thing.

       An aggressive rabbit?

       maybe it's rabbid.

Cover floor with newspaper; watch where they shit.

I can think of at least two things wrong with the above suggestion.
Texticle, Oct 14 2005

Adze: it used to attack the broom. (It had black bristles, and I think the rabbit thought it was another male. The rabbit in question was a Netherlands Dwarf, which have a reputation for feistiness.)

OK, it seems I was sort of thinking along the same lines as [sophocles] here. My first thought was this idea was designed to incite PETA members. You know, along the lines of the mink stole, the alligator bag, leopard shoes, Viola! The Rabbit Diaper!

Of course, we could be more sensitive and use only pelts taken from road-kill bunnies, or situations where the rabbits had gone off and joined a cult then were wiped out by mass suicide in an attempt to reach a higher plane of existence.

       Silly rabbits.
jellydoughnut, Oct 14 2005

I had some friends that always wanted rabbit skin boxer shorts. That rabbit fur is so soft you just can't help but touch it, so of course, they could never decide which side of the rabbit skin should point outward.
