Cellphones do just about everything now: they access the internet, take photographs, send text messages and so on.
But phones are for putting noise right into another persons ear. And sometimes you want a noise you cant make. For this: the Quack Button. When hit, instead of a the person on the
other end hearing a beep, they hear a loud Quack.
The Quack would be the default setting. It would be possible to download other sounds off the internet. One could have entire Spike Jones-like conversations composed of nonword sounds.
credit for the QB to one BH, who told me her idea for it today.

<Quack/> Sounds good to me <Aooooooga/> |

Could double as a relief button for hypochondriacs in public spaces. Just press the quack button and a genuine faux doctor answers and soothes your worries. |

is Moo an option? who said that? |

bungston: I need a "raspberry" button - not because I can't make one, but for when I respond over-honestly to what the other person says, I can say "Oops, pressed the wrong button, sorry".
jutta: that's sweet. Shows the enormous power of subtlety in advertising.
phoenix: funniest is the latest ad, where the duck *doesn't* quack (it's too busy watching a Vegas floor show). |

You're kidding me. You can't make a quack noise? You want a phone to do this for you? |
|

+ My Sister regularly phones me and starts the conversation either with a Belch or a <chicken> B'kaaaaark!</chicken>
I need the QB to even things up. |

I have this suspicion that just about everything you do in public drives people crazy. ;) |

//pull cord talking farm animal noise toys// I think toddlers have cell phones these days, so I suppose you could combine them. |
