       You mean like this ?

       <link>

       Or The Battle Of Britain ? "We'd never have killed so many beastly huns if we hadn't had the Supermarine Spitfire".

       Titanic ? "If we hadn't chosen White Star Line, we wouldn't be stuck in this freezing bloody lifeboat".

       This, surely, is baked in 99% of TV advertisements?

       Oh, I thought the "actress" was going to hold up a bottle of name brand laundry detergent or display a car logo during the money shot sequence.

       Few people know that production of "The African Queen" was originally heavily sponsored by Gilbey's Gin, on the understanding that their product would feature prominently and be mentioned by name.

       John Huston had a falling out with the sponsors, however, who withdrew their funding, asked for their money back and threatened to bankrupt the film. In the end, a court case found in favour of the film company. Several scenes which had featured Gilbey's Gin had to be re-shot, deleted or replaced completely, including the final scene. The famous "play it again, Sam" scene replaced a scene where Bogart (as Charlie Allnut) explains to Katherine Hepburn how to make the perfect gin martini.

       In the middle of the last big shootout the hero stops to endorse the firearm he's been mowing the enemy down with.
