I've got a drawer full of old data cables at my place of work. Reluctant as I am to throw away anything, I was considering the merits of some new uses for these.
Some are long enough to be used as skipping ropes, but of course lack the necessary and essential handle at each end. So that's what brings
me to Plug'n'Skip Handles.
Each handle would come in two halves that clamp over the cable, allowing it to swivel in the hollow central space while the plugs at each end would act as a sort of knot to prevent it escaping.
Note - comes with additional 'opening and closing' constrictor grommets to facilitate variously sized cable ends.
