Since Pillsbury makes such an oh-so-wonderful pre-made breadish products in a tube, why not take it further? My proposal is for all ingredients for a pizza to be stored in a tube such that when squeezed results in an Italian treat*. First comes the dough in a fat lump. Pause to spread it out a bit.
Squeeze again and the tomato sauce comes out. Squeeze a third time and the toppings (as mostly listed on the side of the tube) come spluttering out. Make sure to squeeze onto a pan or stone, not your counter top. Bake for 20 min at 190 (375F).
Or put the whole tube in the microwave on high for 5 minutes. Enjoy the resulting splatters as "Pizza Bites".
Bonus for this idea is that it takes less space in the freezer case and at home.
*A true Italian pizza shall never come in such a tube.

I like the idea of a cyclindrical crust containing pizza goodness, inside a cardboard tube with a pushupable bottom. Then you could push up the pizza little by little as you ate it, minimizing mess. The tube would not be poisonous, in case you got overenthusiastic. |

Couple things. Firstly, I am pretty sure that the tubes used to house buiscuits and cinnamon rolls aren't squeeze tubes. As far as I know, there aren't any doughs that come in a squeeze tube. This isn't a real problem, just put this product in a tearaway tube. Also, those titles aren't immediately understandable, 21. I like his because it makes such a disgusting idea digestible ... anyways, how about a tear away tube with a stack of little pizzas in it? |

if the dough is wet, the yeast is busy making gas and your tube will explode. If there is no yeast, the dough is blah and I don't want it. if the dough is just flour and seasoning and you gotta add yeast and water and oil, it's too much work. - |
