Scattered throughout every airport concourse are these unobtrusive chairs attached to smallish metal boxes. Upon closer inspection, the chairs appear to be on shielded mechanical structures. Drop a few coins in the box and the chair's rocker lock releases, allowing the user to gently rock back and forth at their own pace. Or with a push of a button the chair rocks you at a gentle pace (about 25 times per minute). The rocking mechanism has a specially-designed shield to prevent fingers, candy, and other objects from getting enmeshed in the works.

Great for: Young mothers rocking their little ones Nervous flyers subtly working off some jitters Sleepy travellers
