Time to build another pyramid, a 'time capsule' of things that have outlived their usefulness. Into the sarcophagus go the very best examples of stuff we don't need/want any more. Farewell slide rule (a Pickett 10-10 Trig made of aluminum), farewell SLR (Nikon F2 and a roll of Ektachrome film?), Farewell to all the beautifully made servants of mankind that are now and forever obsolete.

Even things that haven't been invented yet will someday be obsolete.

I was thinking this might be some kind of sealable container, afforded diplomatic rights from some Westerly country, and by that method adopting said country's time-zone conventions, which upon calling "Time" at the bar, those individuals wishing to finish their drinks at a more leisurely pace, could retire within to so do.

Also, film is not obsolete, it is very much alive and well.

Stone tools continued to be made well into the bronze age, but with far less sophistication and skill. The older technology is not always made entirely obsolete by the newer.
